News: Nick Cannon confirms his marriage to Mariah Carey is indeed on the rocks

Nick Cannon opened up to The Insider this week and revealed that his marriage to pop diva Mariah Carey is indeed, on the rocks.
“There is trouble in paradise," he admitted. “We have been living in separate houses for a few months.”
The news echoes multiple reports claiming that the couple is on the road to divorce after six years of marriage and welcoming twin babies in 2011. “My main focus is my kids," he said of his 3-year-old children, Moroccan and Monroe.
Despite confirming the separation, Cannon dismissed rumours concerning infidelity within the relationship.
The couple have reportedly been living apart since May, when Cannon was still denying reports of a potential split. "You kind of have to ignore it because every week it's something different, and if you paid attention to it, it actually probably would start really affecting you," he told Parade magazine.
"There's no merit or truth to it. It's kind of humorous, really. It couldn't be further off from the truth, and it really affects the credibility of the so-called newspapers."
Cannon, who frequently appeared in Carey’s social media posts, has yet to be featured on the singer’s Instagram since June 14.
Though Cannon spoke about his relationship issues openly, the America’s Got Talent host did not confirm whether they were considering a divorce. According to reports, the pair will make the split official once an agreement is reached on their shared properties and custody of their two children.
