News: Just In: The Ogoga of Ikere, Oba Adegoke Adegboye is dead.

A Prominent traditional Monarch in Ekiti State, the Ogoga of Ikere, Oba Adegoke Adegboye is dead.
Adegboye, who became the king of the of the town, the “gateway to Ekiti State” in early 70s, died at the age of 86.
Competent sources told DailyP that the Monarch passed away around 6pm yesterday (Friday) after a brief illness.

An official statement from the state government is still being awaited.
