Photos: Is Clarion Chukwurah in it to win it?

Seasoned actress, Clarion Chukwura, who won the Best Actress award at this year’s edition of the prestigious Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA) for her role in Emem Isong’s “Apaye” is about to make another history.
The veteran actress has been nominated in the Best Actress category (English) for this year’s Best of Nollywood Awards billed for the 4th of October, in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital. Chukwura who is also nominated for her role in “Apaye” will be battling for the award alongside Omoni Oboli (Mrs Elliot), Ivie Okubaye (Black Silhouette), Mary Lazarus (Don’t Cry for Me) and Ijeoma Grace Agu (Misfit).
Also nominated in the Best Actress (Yoruba ) category are Bimbo Osin, (Feresisemi), Yewande Adekoya (Kudi Klepo), Bidemi Kosoko (Kori Koto), Sheyi Asekun (Fifehanmi) and Iyabo Ojo(Silence).
