The awards show — held at The Forum in Inglewood, California — will also see performances by Maroon 5, Usher, Ariana Grande, and Australian boy band 5 Seconds of Summer.
Beyoncé’s lengthy list of nods include Best Female, Best Collaboration, Best Video With a Social Message, and her “Drunk In Love” video with husband Jay Z is in consideration for Video of the Year.
The couple wrapped up the stateside leg of their On the Run tour on Wednesday, and now the “Crazy In Love” couple will jet-set to Stade de France in Paris for their two international stops on September 12 and 13.
The VMAs will air on Sunday, August 24 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on MTV.
