News: 2Face whose dad was diagnosed with cancer, sues Icon Magazine for N100m

Tuface Idibia is requesting a whooping sum of N100million/$607,000 from soft-sell magazine, Icon Weekly, for dragging his name to the public in a major scandal.
Earlier this year, Icon Magazine reported that Tuface had a banker lover who was pregnant for him and refused to get rid of the pregnancy inspite of all the pleas from 2Face!
A source close to the Idibia family says the singer Tuface lost a mouthwatering deal and that issue also caused ripples between him and his wife, Annie even though she shared a couple of messages via Twitter saying that it was an obvious lie and a way of getting attention to help sell the Mag.

The Media/Entertainment Law Firm of L & A- Legal Consultants has filed libel proceedings on behalf of 2face, at the Ikeja High Court asking the court to award their client the sum of N100million being damages for the libelous publication posted on the magazine’s online and print platform.
Icon weekly is said to have approached 2face’s team for discussions on a possible out of court settlement.
However, 2Baba had earlier revealed that his father had cancer during a cancer event a short while ago.
He said:

“He is fine and there is really no problem. He was diagnosed early and he has started the required  treatment. He will be fine. It is just one of those things. The family will get through it. The whole family is behind him and most importantly God is behind him too.”
