Chris Brwon posted a screenshot of Vanessa Carlton from her 'A Thousand Miles' video with the caption, "MOOD. THIS SONG LIT FOREVER."
While that's absolutely true, Vanessa wasn't feeling the comment coming from Chris -- especially on International Women's Day.
She took to Instagram with a message of her own, dissing Chris and his support of her song.
Chris then responded by sharing her message along with a caption of his own, adding that Vanessa "felt she was doing her duty as a WOMAN to continue to spread this kind of hatred today."
He didn't stop there. After deleting his initial post, Chris took one last jab at Vanessa by sharing a clip of the legendary scene in 'White Chicks' where Vanessa's song is featured:
