Dubai's most expensive flat ever (thus far anyway) is currently being built on the exclusive man-made Palm Jumeirah archipelago.

The One Palm building will contain 94 apartments, and while most of them will be three to five bedroom flats, the top of the building it is set to boast the most expensive in Dubai - the DH200million (£39million) penthouse. Photos of the four-bedroom showroom flat being paraded before prospective buyers shows a luxurious dining room, stunning views and a master bedroom with hand-painted silk wallpaper.
