Earlier this week, the app was forced to delete a controversial ad that joked about domestic violence.
"Would you rather slap Rihanna or punch Chris Brown?" the ad asked.
Obviously, the ad made reference to Rihanna and Chris Brown's 2009 domestic violence incident which resulted in Chris pleading guilty to felony assault & making criminal threats.
"The advert was reviewed and approved in error, as it violates our advertising guidelines," a spokesperson for the app said in a statement. "We immediately removed the ad last weekend, once we became aware. We are sorry that this happened."
The apology wasn't enough for Rihanna. She took to Snapchat's main rival, Instagram to blast the app for the ad and accused Snap of intentionally bringing shame to domestic violence victims.
"Now SNAPCHAT I know you already know you ain't my fav app out there!" Rihanna said.
"But I'm just trying to figure out what the point was with this mess! I'd love to call it ignorance, but I know you ain't that dumb!"
