Nol cards and other freebies will also be on offer across the city at Metro, tram and bus stations as well as airport taxi.
It is all being organised by the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) to brighten the days of tourists and other regular Dubai travellers.
The free taxi journeys are being handed out to 100 passengers at random – so you'll need to be feeling lucky.
A spokesperson said: “A limited edition of nol cards in cooperation with Smart Dubai office will be issued and freebies will be distributed at metro, tram and bus stations as well as taxi ranks at the Dubai International Airport.
They added: “Several buses and taxis will be wrapped by the logo of the Happiness Week as well.”
In this year's World Happiness Report, the UAE was ranked the happiest country in the Arab world.
Meanwhile, the Government is also cutting supermarket prices by 50 percent for a month to celebrate the International Day of Happiness.
Starting this Tuesday, it’s time to get those shopping bags ready and make space in that fridge for some incredible offers.
The price cut will cover more than 600 stores across the UAE for a whole month.
