Teacher from Kate Middleton's former school detained in the UAE

A former teacher at the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton's former school has been detained in Abu Dhabi after sending an insult online.
Christian Wilke, a 39-year-old teacher was working at a high school in Abu Dhabi at the time of his arrest. Previously Wilke had worked as head of Computing at public school Downe House School in the UK.
According to his mother Christine Wilke-Breitsameter, who spoke to international media outlets, her son does not know which online post caused his arrest. Wilke is sentenced to one year in prison and a fine of approximately AED15,000/$4,110.
Wilke, who has been detained since late December 2017 claims to be unsure which online post he is being detained for, according to reports.
The UAE has strict cyber-crime laws.
