New timings for Dubai Tram & Dubai Metro

The RTA has announced that as of Wednesday November 1, Metro and Tram journeys will be starting earlier every day.
Aimed at alleviating congestion and strain on the major roads running up and down the city, especially at rush hour, the Roads and Transport Authority is making public transport services more readily available for those starting their day earlier than the rest of us.

So from November 1, from Saturday to Thursdays Red Line services will start at 5am, rather than 5.30am, while the Green Line will run from 5.30am instead of 5.50am. The lines will be operational until midnight throughout the week, except on Thursdays when both lines will close at 1am. The Tram will run from 6am until 1am from Saturday to Thursday.
On Fridays, both metro lines will run from 10am to 1am, while the Tram will start at 9am, again closing at 1am.

In additional, more trains have been deployed for the six Express Metro Stations at Rashidiya, Rigga, Emirates Towers, First Gulf Bank, Jumeirah Lakes Towers and UAE Money Exchange.
