Lamar, who has come straight out of Compton to become one of the hottest acts on the rap scene, released his first studio album back in 2011 and sold more than a million copies of both his second and third albums, cementing his position as one of the rising stars in the industry.
The Yasalam after-race concerts will be held from Thursday November 23 until Sunday, November 26, the day of the thrilling F1 finale itself.
P!nk has been handed the honour of headlining the prestigious after-race concert on Sunday.
Calvin Harris, who has collaborated with some of the biggest names on the music scene during a hit-laden stint at the top, will get the party started in style by taking centre for the first Yasalam concert on Thursday night.
Mumford & Sons, who rose to acclaim back in 2009 with their breakthrough debut album, Sigh No More, which reached number two in both the UK and American charts before their follow-up Babel, soared to the top of the charts on both sides of the Atlantic, will be taking centre stage for a spectacular Saturday show.
The band’s second album remains the fastest selling rock album of the decade – making the talented four-piece the perfect fit for the high-octane finale to the F1 season.
Away from the Yasalam concerts at Du Arena, Brit star Craig David and rap icon Busta Rhymes will be among the big names taking to the decks during the F1 weekend, with both taking centre stage at the Yas Viceroy Hotel, overlooking the Yas Marina Circuit.
