Great News: Sting to headline at Dubai Jazz Festival 2015: John Legend & James Blunt also perform

The Dubai Jazz Festival™ is by far the biggest, the most awarded, and the longest running music festival in the region. It is the 1st ever multi-day music event that caters for all tastes from Jazz and Blues, to Pop and Rock. Over the years it has attracted more than 370,000 spectators, top international and local brands, and hundreds of artists such asSantana, The Script, Deep Purple, Jason Mraz, David Gray, Jools Holland, Alison Moyet, Train, Macy Gray, And Kool & The Gang, just to name a few.

Now this is exciting news for all fans of simply sensational music – Sting is coming to Dubai to headline the Emirates Airline Dubai Jazz Festival on 26 February 2015, for what promises to be one of the greatest gigs of the coming year.
Imagine screaming at the top of your lungs when Sting performs his biggest solo hits including ‘Desert Rose’, ‘Englishman in New York’, as well as some of The Police’s classics like ‘Message In A Bottle’.
The sixteen-time Grammy award-winner is certainly one of those musicians, one can call a true icon and we can’t wait for him to take the open-air stage at the 2015 Jazz Festival instalment.
28-year-old American violinist Lindsey Stirling will be joining in as the supporting act. The multi-talented dancer, performance artist, and composer of a variety of music styles, from classical to pop and hip-hop to electronic dance music, is sure to keep the crowds entertained on the second day of the highly anticipated music fest.
Music fans attending the main gigs during the three-day event are set to enjoy the signature atmosphere, happenings, food and beverage offering and of course, the Festival’s main course; the internationally acclaimed artists’ lineup comprising Platinum selling singer- songwriter James Blunt and award-winning musician Christina Perri who will be making her Middle East debut.
The lineup also includes singer-songwriter John Legend who wrote and performed the most heartbreaking ballade of 2014, ‘All Of Me’ and jazz bassist, cellist, singer and Grammy Award winner Esperanza Spalding both of whom will perform on the Festival’s third and final day.
