News: Rap mogul Suge Knight arrested on murder charge in LA hit-and-run, held on $2M bail

Death Row Records founder Suge Knight was allegedly involved in a fatal hit and run in Compton, Calif. on Thursday, and has been arrested for murder after turning himself in overnight.

Knight reportedly hit a man with his car before fleeing the scene. Knight's lawyer, James Blatt confirmed that his client was at the wheel of the car, and claims that he was attacked by two people. His attorney told local station KABCthat while driving away, Knight allegedly hit one man with his car, killing him, while another man was hospitalized.

Authorities tell ET that Knight, 49, has been arrested and booked for murder and is being held on $2 million bail.
