Adesanya was the main attraction in Glendale, Arizona, on June 12 and he was paid handsomely to be so.
The Nigerian-born New Zealand fighter collected $500,000 (£360,000) for his unanimous decision win over Marvin Vettori, as revealed to MMAJunkie.
Vettori, while losing out to Adesanya, pocketed a healthy $350,000 (£252,000) for his role in the main event.
As the fight of the night, both Adesanya and Vettori were treated, and paid, as such and they have been disclosed as the two top earners at UFC 263.
Among the other standout earners from the event, Nate Diaz, who was making his comeback to the octagon, earned $250,000 (£180,000) in his defeat to the ever-improving Leon Edwards.
