Twitter will not allow Donald Trump's old tweets to be restored to its platform

Twitter will NOT allow Donald Trump's old tweets to be reposted to the site after his ban despite National Archives bid to preserve the account, it has been revealed.
The social media company permanently banned Trump's personal account, @realDonaldTrump, two days after the deadly U.S. Capitol riot on January 6, claiming that his tweets violated policies against the 'glorification of violence'.
The National Archives and Records Administration, which already maintains archives for many official and personal accounts from the former Trump administration, has been working to create an archive of Trump's tweets, Politico reported.
NARA spokesperson James Pritchett told Politico that federal archivists are 'working to make the exported content available … as a download.'
'Twitter is solely responsible for the decision of what content is available on their platform,' Pritchett told the outlet.
After Twitter banned Trump's account, CEO Jack Dorsey claimed he 'did not celebrate' removing the former Commander-in-Chief's account.
