Photos: The Sheikh Zayed mosque in Fujairah, UAE is absolutely beautiful!

This gorgeous mosque can house approximately 28,000 worshipers.
The Sheikh Zayed Mosque in Fujairah, also known as the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, is the main mosque in the Emirate of Fujairah, and the second largest in the United Arab Emirates after the mosque with the same name in Abu Dhabi. The mosque opened in 2015, and Fujairah's ruler, Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, led the first Eid prayers.
It is similar to the Blue Mosque in Istanbul and has 65 domes and six minarets. The courtyard of the mosque, with fountains and gardens, can hold 14,000 people. The building project started in 2010 and was funded by the President, Sheikh Khalifa. The work was carried out by the Ministry of Public Works and supervised by Fujairah Municipality. The carpet in the main prayer hall resembles a garden filled with many flowers.
The design embodies Arabic and Ottoman architecture, along with modern design elements.
