A Transavia Airlines flight HV6902 from Dubai to Amsterdam was forced to land and four passengers were escorted from the plane by local police, after one passenger refused to stop farting, according to international reports.

Two men sitting near him repeatedly asked him to stop farting. The man refused and airline staff were alerted. The pilot then got involved, asking the man to stop. However the man continued and a fight broke out... The man in question was reportedly an elderly, overweight man suffering from wind, and making no attempt to hide it, and two young Dutchmen were not happy.

The fight caused the airline to make an unscheduled stop in Vienna, where Austrian police boarded the plane to escort the man off. According to reports, two women who had no connection to the man but were sitting beside him were also escorted from the flight, along with one other.
