Photos: Governor Fashola Visits Dora Akunyili's Family

The Lagos State Governor, Babatunde Fashola paid a condolence visit to the family of late Professor Dora Akunyili's family at their Maitama, Abuja residence on Thursday, June 12, 2014. Mrs Akunyili died of uterine cancer on June 7, 2014 at the age of 59. Despite her illness, she was actively participating in the work of the ongoing National Conference.
Earlier President Goodluck Jonathan, Vice-President Namadi Sambo and the ministers dedicated the entire Federal Executive Council (FEC) session to paying tribute to the former Minister of Information and Communication, Professor Dora Akunyili.
According to family sources, Dora Akunyili will be buried on August 28, 2014 and funeral arrangements will be made available to the public in due course.
