He was 64 years old and was the deputy head of the Nigeria Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (NSCIA).
According to a source close to the family who spoke with TheCable on phone from Ibadan, “Aare died in London this morning.”
A family source also stated that the cause of death was colon cancer and that the remains of the deceased businessman were being conveyed to Nigeria for burial as early as tomorrow according to Muslim rites.
