To say Dikeh was appalled by the message is an understatement and she had this to say afterwards:
"Don’t know if I read this well, can’t believe this high tension ignorance is still in existence. How Does Physical violence reflect LOVE in any Way? ONLY UNEDUCATED LAZY, HOPELESSS, BROKE, NAIVE, BROKEN WOMEN SPEAK LIKE THIS* Do you know what domestic Abuse do to you? It breaks you, makes you feel worthless n deserving of the abuse, it puts fear in you,It paralyses yourself confidence, it kills you n leaves your kids motherless DON’T STAND FOR VIOLENCE #SAY NO TO DOMESTIC VIOLENCE".
Tonto Dike’s aversion for domestic violence was once portrayed in a movie titled Holding Hope produced by Uche Jombo and directed by Desmond Elliot.
