Shoppers got more than they bargained for when a man decided to take a casual stroll through a shopping centre - completely naked.
The man, wearing nothing but his birthday suit, was spotted walking through Casuarina Square in Darwin, in the Northern Territory on Saturday afternoon.
Onlookers definitely got an eye full and found it rather hilarious.
'We were at the Coffee Club having a cuppa when this guy strolls past very calmly, he didn't look stressed whatsoever,' shopper Dee Smith told the NT News.
It's not known why the man decided to go butt naked on the occasion, but Ms Smith believes it was likely he was put up to it by his mates.
'It was probably a dare, there are a lot of end of footy season parties happening at the minute, or he just likes to get naked,' she said.
And there's no doubt, a man in the starkers caused plenty of reaction from shocked shoppers that were stunned by the open display.
'We cracked up with laughter, there were a couple of shocked looks from the people sitting near us, a couple of 15 year old girls were screaming. It was a bit of an eye-opener,' she told the NT News.
As expected, the naked commotion caused a bit of a stir from the shopping centre's security guards who were quick to try and track him down.
But soon after the man put everything on display, he was able to make a timely exit and evade capture and further embarrassment.
Duty Superintendent Robert Burgoyne said it was a coincidence there was a report of a drug affected man who had left Royal Darwin Hospital half an hour earlier with a similar description.
The 28-year-old man had left the hospital before receiving medical treatment but as to whether it might have been the same man was unknown.
'The only connection between the two was that they both had a beard,' Duty Superintendent Burgoyne said.
