The Lagos state government has announced that private and public schools in Lagos State will now resume on October 8, 2014.
Governor Babatunde Fashola approved the new resumption date at a stakeholders’ forum held Sunday, at Lagos Television Blue Roof, Agindigbi, Ikeja.
The forum was attended by head teachers and principals of schools in the state.
Fashola said the shift in date was to allow for adequate distribution of Ebola preventive materials in schools across the state.
