The long-anticipated Eid Al Adha has officially been announced.
This year’s Eid will fall on Sunday, August 11, 2019, according to the International Astronomical Centre (IAC) in Abu Dhabi.
The new moon was sighted on Thursday evening, making Eid Al Adha fall on the 10th day of Dhu Al Hajja.
Both the public and private sectors are expected to have four days off starting from August 10 until August 13, 2019.
