Kim Porter's official cause of death revealed

Kim Porter’s official cause of death has been revealed.

According to the L.A. County Coroner’s office, she died from lobar pneumonia — which is an inflammation of an entire lobe of the lungs.

Model and actor Kim Porter died after contracting a form of pneumonia, a coroner has said. 47-year-old Ms Porter, who was the former long-time girlfriend of Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, died unexpectedly in November 2018.

Following tests, the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner has determined Ms Porter died from lobar pneumonia. Her death on 15 November was certified as natural, the statement added.

Following her death, Diddy released a statement saying he and his former partner were “more than soulmates”.

Ms Porter was the mother of three of Diddy’s children.

She also had a son, actor-singer Quincy Brown, from a previous relationship with R&B singer Al B Sure!
