Angelique Kerber beats Serena Williams to win #Wimbledon for the first time!

Germany's Angelique Kerber beats American Serena Williams 6-2, 6-3 to win her first Wimbledon championship.
Kerber comfortably beat the record-chasing America's Serena Williams in straight sets to secure a first Wimbledon title and third grand slam.
Williams was chasing an eighth Wimbledon crown and a first major as a mum, which would have drawn her level with Margaret Court on 24 grand slam titles, but the 36-year-old suffered defeat in just over an hour.
