News: UAE Vice President, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum receives President John Dramani Mahama of Ghana

UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum received President John Dramani Mahama of Ghana and his accompanying delegation in Dubai on Fri.Dec.27.
Sheikh Mohammed and President Mahama discussed ways of boosting bilateral relations and exchanging of expertise between the UAE and Ghana in areas of tourism, oil and infrastructure which Ghana has started upgrading in the capital Accra, especially after the discovery of oil and gas there.
During the meeting, Mahama expressed appreciation for the stunning progress being witnessed by the UAE at all levels, noting in this context Dubai’s  integrated and upscale infrastructure which has  become a role model for many of the world's cities.

President Mahama also hoped that his country, especially the capital, benefits from Dubai’s experience and human potentials in developing his country’s airport, seaports, networks of bridges, tunnels, financial market and tourism sector.
The meeting was attended by Cabinet Affairs Minister Mohammed Abdullah Al Gergawi, State Minister Reem Ibrahim Al Hashemi, Director General of Dubai Protocol Department khalifa Saeed Suleiman, Ghanaian Non-Resident Ambassador to the UAE Haj Abdullah Salivo and Ghanaian Consul General in Dubai Alhaj Abdullah Yacoub.
