This marks the beginning of Shawwal at the end of Ramadan.
Eid al-Fitr will be celebrated on Sunday May 24 marking the end of Ramadan.

Both private and public sector workers, who have the same holidays, will enjoy a five day break including the weekend, returning to work on Wednesday May 27.
