Dubai Crown Prince pens a letter of support & encouragement to the UAE

In a letter penned by Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Executive Council, the Royal has conveyed a message of support and hope to the UAE government employees during these difficult times.

Stressing on the ability of UAE to overcome challenges, Sheikh Hamdan wrote, “A difficult experience the world is going through and we are not in isolation from it, but our belief in God’s power and great mercy will enable us to overcome this stage and we will emerge from it stronger.” “We have a great God and great leadership that is keen on protecting the lives of its individuals, as summed up by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and the Ruler of Dubai who said:
‘A message to our people that their health is the most important factor, and that all the resources of the state is devoted to ensuring their safety, and that everyone today is responsible for everyone else, and that the UAE is united in front of challenges, united to overcome the crises,” Sheikh Hamdan added in his letter. Reassuring not only citizens but also the residents of UAE of the availability of resources ranging from food to medicine, the Crown Prince wrote, “I’d like to reassure every citizen and resident of the UAE that our country is infinitely able to supply everyone with all the food and medicine they could ever need. We are well prepared to face any challenge that arises.” “We are indeed blessed with exceptional leaders wh provide comfort, safety, and peace of mind to UAE citizens and residents who deserve the very best.”

Sheikh Hamdan also highlighted the responsibility held by every individual during the Covid-19 outbreak.
He wrote: “Every individual in society is responsible to make temporary changes to their lifestyle and ensure they are implementing precautionary health and safety measures during these critical times.” “It is our collective duty to do everything we can to keep ourselves, our family members, and our wider community safe.”

Concluding his letter, the Crown Prince reminded everyone to practice self-isolation where possible, writing, “Let us all remain within the comfort of our own homes as much as possible for our safety and wellbeing, and in support of the many individuals who spend their days and nights to keep our nation safe and secure. Let us not underestimate the power of our own individual contributions, and remain committed to our collective safety and wellbeing, as life gets back to normal.”

“I pray God Almighty protects and blesses you and your loved ones and keeps you safe and sound.”
