ANNOUNCED: Eid al-Adha date in the UAE

The International Astronomical Society have announced that Eid al-Adha is likely to fall on Sunday August 11 in Abu Dhabi and Dubai.
Private and public sector workers will enjoy a four day holiday for Eid Al Adha.
Employees will be entitled to a holiday between Saturday August 10 and Tuesday August 13 this year. With the first day of the holiday falling on a Saturday, many people will enjoy three days off work (Sunday, Monday and Tuesday) and a five-day weekend. People will then return to their jobs on Wednesday August 14.
The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources confirmed earlier this year that employees in the public and private sector will receive the same holidays in 2019.
