RTA official says Dubai is now ready for flying taxis

Dubai is one of the most modern cities in the world, with self-driving cars on the roads, lightning fast travel systems and a whole host of smart technology.

Now it seems that the city is one step closer to the future – with the director of the RTA revealing that Dubai is “ready for flying taxis”.
The city already tested the world’s first automatic flying taxi back in September 2017, making it the world’s first self-flying service. We may not be far off seeing the service in the sky. Mattar Al Tayer made the announcement during the opening session of this week’s Transport Congress and Exhibition.
