Dubai VOX Cinemas launches first licensed outdoor cinema

The al fresco cinema features a retractable roof and air-conditioning.

Vox Cinemas has just opened its second OUTDOOR cinema experience at Aloft City Centre Deira overlooking Dubai Creek, and not only is it suitable for all seasons, its fully-licensed. The location includes a retractable roof for those upcoming winter nights and air-conditioning when the heat is too much, which means this cinema stops at nothing to give audiences an al fresco viewing experience. The first licensed venue for VOX Cinemas is built on the pool terrace on the floor four of the Aloft Hotel, right next to its shisha lounge and infinity pool if you’re looking for a place to chat about the film afterwards. A variety of beverages and cinema snacks will also be available, so film fans can watch Hollywood hits and Bollywood blockbusters on the cinemas lounge-style seating with drink in one hand and food in the other.

Tickets are priced at Dhs75 for a single seat, while a double seat is priced at Dhs150, along with a couple of blankets thrown in for those chilly nights. You can give the new venue a test drive by going to watch romcom Crazy Rich Asians, or something with a bit more bite by watching The Meg.
