This man was arrested in Abu Dhabi for dressing as a woman

A man has been arrested and jailed in Abu Dhabi for cross dressing, after he was found walking the streets in women's clothing.

He has been jailed for one month for the act, which is a crime in the UAE. 
The man said he was 'dared by a friend' to commit the act, and was walking the streets of Abu Dhabi in a dress, and carrying a ladies' bag.
The man claimed he did not know it was against the law to crossdress in the UAE
He was arrested for being a 'public nuisance'.
