No one has been fired by United Airlines for Dr David Dao's bloody attack

In response to a reporter’s question Tuesday about whether anyone at the airline had lost their job after a passenger was violently dragged off a flight last week, United CEO Oscar Munoz said no one had been fired.
“It was a system failure,” Munoz explained. “There was never a consideration for firing an employee or anyone around it.” “The incident has been a humbling learning experience for all of us here at United,” he added. The airline previously announced that it would change policies, including that law enforcement would not be called to remove a passenger unless they were a threat to safety. The video of David Dao’s violent removal gained global attention in the days after the incident.
