Photos: Following the power cut in Dubai Mall yesterday, Dubai King orders installation of additional power generators at key buildings

Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum has ordered real estate developers and companies developing touristic, commercial and  cultural projects to install additional power generators  to ensure the seamless uninterrupted power supply in their developments.
His Highness’ decision was made during his visit to Dubai Water and Electricity Authority (DEWA) headquarters, where he was briefed yesterday’s power outage in Dubai Mall.
Sheikh Mohammed was accompanied by Dubai Crown Prince HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and Deputy Ruler of Dubai HH Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation HH Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and HH Sheikh Mansour bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. Director- General of the Department of Protocol and Hospitality in Dubai H.E. Khalifa Saeed Suleiman was also present during the visit.
