The former military leader, Gen. Ibrahim Babangida, has returned from medical treatment at a German Hospital.
Babangida, who was away for two months, was received by the Minister of Defence, Aliyu Gusau and close family members at the Minna Airport.
On arrival, he thanked all well wishers that stood by him during his stay at the hospital, adding that “I miss everyone around me’’.
“When I rest, then we shall talk more with my friends about current issues as we usually do. But for now, let me rest,” he told reporters.
The retired military general was welcomed home at his hilltop residence by his grandchildren.
Other personalities that welcomed Babangida home included AVM Hamza Abdullahi, Gen. Halilu Hakilu, Col. Habibu Shuaibu and former Chairman of Peugeot Automobile Nigeria (PAN), Umaru Ndanusa. (NAN)
