It's only a matter of days before Bill and Hillary Clinton become first-time grandparents!
The two were joined by their very pregnant daughter, Chelsea Clinton, at the 8th Annual Citizen Awards in New York City which kicks off the 10th Annual Clinton Global Initiative Meeting.
Chelsea's bun in the oven seemed to be the topic of conversation throughout the star-studded ceremony, hosted by Seth Meyers.
Meyers playfully assured the audience that should Chelsea go into labor during Sunday night's event and former President Clinton have to leave, "Al Gore is waiting in the wings, ready to step in for old times' sake."
Chelsea radiated in a navy blue empire waist gown, which matched her mother's cobalt pantsuit.
And during an earlier interview with CNN, the former president revealed that his daughter's due date, saying, "I hope by the first of October, I'll be a grandparent."
He added, "I can't wait…We're on watch now."
He also shared that Chelsea and her husband, Marc Mezvinsky, have chosen not to find out the baby's gender.
"My daughter and son-in-law decided not to know," he said during the sit-down interview. "They want to be surprised."
And after announcing her pregnancy, Chelsea said of motherhood, "I just hope that I will be as good a mom to my child and hopefully children as my mom was to me."
