News: John Legend charged KimYe THIS MUCH for performing at their wedding?

The R&B hitmaker has conquered the charts with his latest hit ("All of Me"), he's leaving fans wowed on his current tour and he's even scooped up an honourary Doctor of Music degree from his Ivy League alma mater the University of Pennsylvania. Not bad for the first half of the year, we reckon.

Of course, people wanted to know about his experience playing "All of Me" at Kim and Kanye's wedding. It turns out that the singer-songwriter didn't collect a cheque for his special performance.

"I did it free of charge," shared John on performing his hit at the wedding event of 2014. "It was an honour to be there and it was a beautiful wedding and I was just glad to be there to support my friend."

John also revealed that his wife, model extraordinaire Chrissy Teigen, cried when she heard "All of Me" for the first time.

"Yeah, she cried," said John of the song he dedicated to the love of his life. "I'm glad so many people love it."
