Meet Collins Chibueze aka Shaboozey, the Nigerian Country Star featured TWICE on Beyonce's 'Cowboy Carter'!

Shaboozey is a 28-year-old rising musician from Virginia.
He has released two albums influenced by country, including 2018’s Lady Wrangler and 2022’s Cowboys Live Forever, Outlaws Never Die — which is likely how he ended up on BeyoncĂ©’s radar. He also contributed a song with Duckwrth called “Start A Riot” to the soundtrack of 2018’s Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse.

Beyoncé made sure to feature Black country artists on her new album "Act II: Cowboy Carter," and one of those is a bona fide crossover artist named Shaboozey, who is featured on her track "Spaghettii" as well as "Sweet Honey Buckiin'".
Born in Virginia, Shaboozey is a Nigerian-American singer and rapper who is best known for bridging hip-hop and country music.
His single "Let It Burn" received over 8 million streams. Last month, he released a music video for his latest single "Anabelle."
His album "Where I've Been, Isn't Where I'm Going" is set to be released May 31.

Born on May 9, 1995, in Northern Virginia, Shaboozey’s musical journey began at a young age.
His Nigerian heritage and time spent in a Nigerian boarding school during his junior high years heavily influenced his sense of rhythm and eclectic taste in music, which spans classic rock, ’80s pop culture, Afro-beat, jazz, and hip-hop.
Shaboozey’s love for literature, which started at 11 with writing poems, short stories, and music, laid the foundation for his lyrical prowess.
Shaboozey’s career took a significant leap in 2017 when his songs “Starfoxx” and “Robert Plant” caught the attention of Republic Records, leading to a record deal.
His debut full-length album, “Lady Wrangler,” released in 2018, showcased his ability to seamlessly infuse rock with rap through captivating guitar solos and deep melodic vocals.
The album’s cohesive collection of hit-worthy songs reflects Shaboozey’s steady rise to fame and his introspective musings on the people he’s brought along and those he’s left behind.
