Tragedy struck a British family when the husband died onboard an Emirates flight en route to Dubai from New Zealand.
As per the report, the man, whose name and age are not known, was travelling along with his wife and children to the UK via Dubai from Christchurch, New Zealand.
The family is now awaiting the autopsy results and are stuck in a Dubai hotel.
According to The National, a lot of support and help have been pouring in from the expat community here in the UAE.
A spokesperson from Emirates confirmed the news to Lovin Dubai:
"Emirates can confirm that a passenger on flight EK413 Christchurch to Dubai on 18 March was taken ill on board.
On arrival in Dubai the flight was met by medical services who confirmed the passenger had sadly passed away.
Emirates offers sincere condolences to the family and is providing them with support and assistance."
