Marley Dias is youngest person on Forbes Under 30 list! See full list for 2018 #30Under30

For the 2018 iteration of Forbes' annual 30 Under 30 list of game-changing young entrepreneurs, 600 rising stars across 20 different industries were highlighted.

Many of the standouts this year -- across categories as varied as venture capital and entertainment -- happen to be women.
One of those listed is Marley Dias.
Yeah, 12-year-old Marley Dias, the founder of #1000BlackGirlBooks, earned a spot as the youngest member on Forbes' 30 under 30 list for 2018.
#1000BlackGirlBooks is a campaign that set out to donate 1,000 books that feature Black girls as main characters. Since Dias surpassed her goal and collected more than 10,000 books, she has secured a book deal of her own and now landed on Forbes' 30 under 30 list for its 2018 class. In addition to a book deal, her work has led her to the White House, where she spoke at the United State of Women Summit alongside Michelle Obama and Oprah Winfrey. She's also interviewed prominent influencers like Ava DuVernay and most recently spoke at the 2017 Teen Vogue Summit. "I'm working to create a space where it feels easy to include and imagine Black girls and make Black girls like me the main characters of our lives," she told Forbes.
