News: Michael Schumacher Shows Small Signs of Improvement After Second Surgery, But Doctors Still Have No Prognosis

Michael Schumacher underwent a second surgery after a brain scan showed small, "surprising'' signs of improvement, but grim doctors said Tuesday they could offer no insight into the prognosis for the Formula 1 champion.
Schumacher, who'll turn 45 on Friday, suffered critical head injury when he fell and struck a rock Sunday while skiing on a family vacation in the French Alps. His manager confirmed that the accident cracked his helmet; doctors credited Schumacher's wearing a helmet with giving him a chance at survival. Schumacher's condition stabilized somewhat after the second surgery, but he remains in a medically induced coma and doctors gave no prediction on how long that would last.
#Recover asap Michael so you can celebrate your Bday, sending you love! x

News: Check Them Out: Most Admired Woman & Man

Poll: Clinton, Obama, most admired

Hillary Clinton is the most admired woman among Americans for the 12th-straight year, according to a national poll released Monday by Gallup.
And for the sixth straight year, the survey indicates President Barack Obama ranks as the most admired man.

Each year in an open-ended format, Gallup asks Americans to name the man and woman living anywhere in the world they admire most.
Clinton, the former Secretary of State, Senator from New York, 2008 Democratic presidential candidate, and former first lady, has topped the Gallup survey 18 times, the most in its history.
She captured 15% support this year, down from 21% last year.
Oprah Winfrey was second at 6%, followed by first lady Michelle Obama and 2008 Republican vice presidential nominee and former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, each at 5%.
Obama has topped the list as the most admired man each year since his victory in the 2008 presidential election.
But as his approval ratings as President have dropped this year, so has his rating in the Gallup survey. He received 16% support this year, down from 30% in 2012.
Former President George W. Bush and Pope Francis were tied for second place, each at 4%. Former President Bill Clinton and the Rev. Billy Graham were each at 2%.
"Graham has appeared in the top 10 list far more often than any other man, making his 57th appearance this year. He has never finished first, a spot typically taken by the sitting President," Gallup said in a statement.
The Gallup poll was conducted December 5-8, with 1,031 adults nationwide questioned by telephone. The survey's overall sampling error is plus or minus 4 percentage points.

Guess what the iconic Nigerian singer, 2Baba did at noon today?

News: Dear Goodluck Jonathan...

Dear Goodluck Jonathan,

I have decided to write you this 18-page letter BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE.  If I don’t write it now, people may start considering you as a good president; forgetting that I am the only good president Nigeria has ever had.  There is no one like me.  As far as Nigeria is concerned, I am the Baba of the Babas.  I am the president of the presidents.  Before me, Nigeria had no president.  After me, there will be no other president.

I have had occasion in the past to warn you, especially when I nominated you as vice-president to Yar’Adua and then campaigned for you to be president, that under no circumstances should you outshine me.  I did not put you there to do the things I could not do.  Neither did I put you there to succeed where I failed.  I put you there because my fourth-term agenda failed.  Therefore, I needed someone to be a figure-head, while I continue to rule from behind the scene.

But since you became president, you have not been following my orders.  I have warned you again and again to desist from this abuse of the authority I gave you.  But you have refused to listen.  So you now think you are actually the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.  I still de laugh!  You are not the president.  I am the president.  If you continue to disobey me, and to promulgate policies that put me in a bad light when compared to you, I will see to it that you don’t even complete your first-term, how much more have a second-term.

I am already in discussions with the APC to see if we can have you impeached.  Did you not read in the papers that APC leaders came to my house the other day?  When they were here, we all ate pounded yam with egusi soup.  Even Buhari had a second helping and asked for the recipe.  You better read the writing on the wall.  I notice you have quickly returned the missing 49 billion dollars after I brought the matter to the notice of fellow Nigerians; but that won’t help you.  I will have you know that we are already training 1000 snipers who will puncture all the tyres of your supporters.  Therefore, if you know what is good for you, you better start acting as the puppet president I put you there to be.

How dare you, Goodluck?  How dare you build almajiri schools in the North?  Why didn’t you suggest that to me while I was in office?  How dare you address the NEPA problem when I could not?  What exactly are you trying to prove?  You think you are better than me?  Don’t you know that you would have remained a striking university lecturer if it had not been for me?  How dare you appoint a competent man to be Minister of Agriculture?  Now the man is going around getting awards for his policies.  Which policies?  I am the one who revolutionized the agric sector in Nigeria.  When I became president, I had only one farm.  By the time I left office, I had over six farms in different parts of the country.  Is that not progress?  How many farms do you have?

You can never be better than me.  The corruption in my government was far more than yours.  You have nothing to compare with my infamous Siemens and Haliburton scandals.  You don’t even have the gumption to buy a Toyota Land Cruiser for your mistress.  Chinua Achebe said, “One of the truest test of integrity is its blunt refusal to be compromised.”  You will soon find that this statement cannot be applied to me.  I am above it.

How dare you release AlMustapha from prison after 14 years when you know I want him to stay there for the rest of his natural life?  I give you my word; you are going to regret that decision.  How dare you convene a national conference when I specifically refused to do so?  Are you trying to make me look bad?  Did you even get my approval before agreeing to it?  You are a very disrespectful man.  Do you think that you, a minority nonentity from the South-South, could have risen to be President of the country had it not been for me?  Have you forgotten so soon, the extent I went in order to ensure that you are where you are today?  There was only bad luck in Nigeria until I, in my infinite wisdom, bequeathed good luck on the country.

You ungrateful man!  If you don’t stop all these irritating policies, I will declare a national state of emergency.  Nonsense!  You are supposed to obey your elders.  Henceforth, Goodluck Jonathan, you must obey me.  Otherwise, I will show you pepper.  I will pour sand into your gari.  I will put tea in your coffee.  You can no longer be trusted; that is why you will only get a second-term over my dead body.  I need to get someone in Aso Rock who will do what I say.  I already have your replacement in mind.  I don’t intend to make the same mistake three times.  I will take him to a shrine under Olumo Rock to swear an iron-clad oath to do whatever I say.  Any flagrant disregard of my authority, and he will not be able to speak English and Hausa again.

People close to you, if not you yourself, have been asking: “What does Baba want?”  What a stupid question.  I want to be president of Nigeria again!  I want to be president!  Half a dozen African presidents have spoken to me and assured me that I am the only president they recognize in Nigeria.  Half a dozen of them said their only wish for Nigeria is that I should return to Aso Rock.  Of course, yes.  Mugabe is still there.  Why not me?  It is not my will but providence has determined that the presidency is my birthright.  I fought for this country.  Single-handed, I kept Nigeria together during the civil-war.  You cannot sideline me.  I put you there: I can remove you.  I made you: I can unmake you.  You are not the Messiah of Nigeria.  I am the Messiah.  Don’t you forget it!  I want nothing personally from you but that you obey me at all times.

When I changed the constitution of our great party, I made sure I would continue to control things by inserting a clause which guaranteed that I am the only one qualified to be the Chairman of the Board of Trustees.  But as chairman, I was not given the recognition I deserve as the father of the party.  Therefore, I tendered my resignation.  Imagine my surprise when you had the audacity to accept it.  You are such an impudent man.  If you knew your place, you would have recognized that my resignation was just a protest.  You were supposed to send the elders of the party to beg me to stay on; a plea I would have graciously accepted.  But like the ungrateful son that you are, you accepted my resignation.  And now, you have Tony Anenih occupying a post that rightfully belongs to me.

Your unlimited ambition became clear to me when the National Chairman of the party said he never does anything without your approval.  So you now see yourself as the Leader of the party.  Never!  See where it has got you now.  A number of governors have resigned from the party and taken APC.  If you don’t behave, another set will resign and take aspirin.  The PDP has lost its majority in the House.  There is talk of impeachment; and you are no longer sleeping at night.  It serves you right.  I fully intend to teach you a lesson you will never forget.  By the time I have finished with you, you will run out of the country and seek political asylum in Equatorial Guinea.

It is not surprising that you have not been able to eradicate the scourge of Boko Haram from Nigeria.  You don’t have military experience like I have.  Under my watch, Bola Ige, Marshal Harry and others were surgically removed from the scene.  Similarly, I would have finished Boko Haram within three months.  I understand the violence.  I am fully cognizant of the root, stem and branches of the underlying causes.  But I will not share any of this with you as long as you refuse to make an unequivocal statement that you will not pursue a second-term.

Unlike you, as president of our great country, I was dynamic and resourceful.  I exterminated trouble-makers from Odi and Zaki Biam.  I spent $16 billion dollars restoring NEPA to its enviable heights.  I committed 300 billion naira rebuilding all the federal highways in the East alone.  I restored the country’s refineries.  I raised the price of petrol several times.  I rigged the most amazing election in the history of the country.  I conducted the first widely-accepted national census.  I could go on and on but my secretary has to go home.  In short, I was the great president you can never be.  So if you think a neophyte like you can compete with me; think again!

Stop taking me for granted.  You don’t want to be in my bad books.  I don’t forgive my enemies.  You will regret this for the rest of your life.  I will show you how much of a nuisance I can be.  I will embarrass you everywhere.  I will tell as many lies about you as I can.  I will write public letters to you every week.  I will copy the next one to the Secretary-General of the United Nations.
Never you forget: I dey kampe!
Accept, ungrateful Mr. President, the assurances of my highest disapproval.
Baba the Baba.

P.S. I shall be sharing the contents of this letter with all the newspaper houses in Nigeria and Ghana.  I will also be copying my very good friend Governor Diepreye Alamieyeseigha.

They Want you to do Better, as Long as you don't do Better than Them, Don't be surprised if your success turns Friends into Strangers.
Sadly, People will wish you all the success in the world, & hate you when you Achieve it. It's Funny how someone who was just a stranger last year, can mean so much to you now, its terrible how someone who meant so much to you last year, can be just a stranger now. Its Amazing what a year can do.
Eventually Everything & Everyone will fall into place, Until then Laugh at the Confusion, Live for the moment & know Everything Happens for a Reason.
When everything seems to be going against you, remember that an Airplane takes off against the wind, not with it.
Every King was Once a crying Baby, Every Great Building was Once an Empty piece of Land, it's not Important where you are today, the most Important thing is where you will reach tomorrow.
Never be proud of what position you Hold, Because After a Game of Chess, the King & the Soldiers go into the same Box.

And Remember What is meant to be will Always find you, God will make sure of it.
Finally, 2013 thank you for all the Lessons.. 2014 I AM READY !!!

News: Prince William to study at Cambridge University

Prince William to study at Cambridge University

Prince William will study at Cambridge University next year.(Next year is just a few hours away, haha!!!)
The second in line to the British throne - who stepped down from his career with the Royal Air Force (RAF) earlier this year - will study Agricultural Management at the prestigious British seat of learning between January and March 2014.
The 10 week course is the first step for the prince in learning how to manage the Duchy of Cornwall; a portfolio of land, property and investments which he will inherit from his father, Prince Charles, when he becomes king.
William - the Duke of Cambridge - will have 18 to 20 hours of lectures, seminars and meetings a week, as well as essays and field trips to complete.

A Kensington Palace spokesperson said the prince was 'very much looking forward' to the course, adding: 'The executive education programme of seminars, lectures and meetings will draw on the strengths of academics across the university.
'The course has been designed to help provide the Duke with an understanding of contemporary issues affecting agricultural business and rural communities in the United Kingdom.'
The course will be run by the Cambridge Programme for Sustainability Leadership (CPSL), part of the Cambridge University's School of Technology.
William's course will not lead to a formal qualification, and its costs are being met privately. He will also still undertake royal duties while studying.
The prince previously graduated from a course in Geography from the University of St. Andrews in Scotland in 2005.
Royal Palace announces that Prince William will study farming at Cambridge.

Farming??? Seriously??? Not bad though, I have a brother who is into farming as well.

Tips: Be Strong, Kind, Bold, Humble and Confident in 2014 & Beyond

Be Strong, Kind, Bold, Humble and Confident

Be strong, but not rude. Be kind, but not weak. Be bold, but don’t bully. Be humble, but not shy. Be confident, but not arrogant.
Confidence is a tool you can use in your everyday life to do all kinds of cool stuff, not least to stop second-guessing yourself, manage your fears and become able to do more of the things that really matter to you.
But not many people realise that their self-confidence works just like a muscle – it grows in response to the level of performance required of it. Either you use it or you lose it. Here are 63 ways to grow your confidence so that you can become a giant.
  1. Learning is a Good Thing, so sign up for that evening class and enjoy it.
  2. Get out of your own head by asking your partner or best friend what you can do for them today.
  3. Hit the gym.  The physiological effects will leave you feeling great.
  4. Go to a networking event and focus on how you can be helpful to other people rather than being nervous about your own stuff.
  5. Get crystal clear on the things that truly matter to you.  If they’re not in your life, you need to bring them in.
  6. Write a list of the things you’re tolerating and putting up with in your life, then write down how you can remove, minimise or diminish each one.
  7. Look at a great win or success you’ve experienced and give yourself credit for your part in it.  Recognising your achievements is not egotistical, it’s healthy.
  8. Next time you’re at a social event, don’t just stick with the people you know – go and have a conversation with someone you don’t know and you never know what – or who – you’ll discover.
  9. Next time you talk yourself out of doing something (a party invite, a challenging project or whatever else), say ‘What the Hell’ and go do it anyway.
  10. Do one thing each day that makes you smile (on the inside or on the outside).
  11. Look for the patterns of thought that take you to a place where you start second-guessing or over-thinking.  Now imagine that your best friend went through exactly the same thought process and ended up holding themselves back – what would you want to say to them?
  12. Ask out that girl or guy you fancy the pants off (only if you’re single, don’t want to get you into trouble).
  13. You have to keep your mind well fed, so write a list of 20 things that keeps your mind feeling nourished and make sure you’re giving them room in your life.
  14. Stop playing different roles and squeezing yourself into boxes based on what you think people expect you to act like.
  15. Learn to catch yourself every single time you tell yourself that you can’t have, won’t get or aren’t good enough to get what you want.
  16. Take yourself off auto-pilot – make deliberate decisions on what really matters to you.
  17. Next time you come up against a risk or a challenge, listen to what you tell yourself and look for a way that that inner dialog can be improved.  Ask yourself, “What would make this easier?”
  18. Scared of looking silly? You and everyone else.  It’s no biggie so don’t let it stop you.  Say it with me – “It just doesn’t matter.
  19. Don’t think for a second that you can’t be confident.  There are already loads of things you do with natural self-confidence, you just have to notice them and get familiar with how it feels.  Look for the things you do where the question of whether you’re confident enough never arises.
  20. Listen to your doubts but be ready to make deliberate decisions once you’ve heard them.  Sometimes your doubts are there to let you know what you need to prepare for, so you can use them to your benefit as you move forwards.
  21. Think of a time when it felt like a whole bank of switches in your head flicked to the on position and you were firing on all cylinders.  What were you doing and what’s the reason it felt so great?
  22. You’ve got a whole bunch of out-dated rules that determine what you do, don’t do, should do and shouldn’t do.  These rules limit your thinking and limit your behaviour.  Tear up your rule book and notice how free you are to make great decisions.
  23. Do you get annoyed with yourself because you didn’t make the most of something or stepped back form an opportunity?  Don’t beat yourself up because that’s just going to make you feel worse.  Instead, be brutally honest and ask yourself what you gained from the situation and what you lost out on.  Based on this win/lose balance, what’s a different choice you can make next time?
  24. If you’d already done everything in life you’d have no need to be scared.  Don’t ever think that being scared means you’re not confident, it simply means you’re going somewhere new.
  25. If there’s someone in your life who puts you down or makes you feel small, you owe it to yourself to let them know that you expect something different from now on.  You deserve better.
  26. Flirt.  It’s a harmless way to play around with connecting with people and having fun.
  27. Reveal a little bit of the real you in a relationship that might feel like it’s in a rut.
  28. Acknowledge and welcome all of your experiences – the good stuff as well as the bad stuff.  It’s all equally valid and hiding things away because you don’t like them is just creating conflict.
  29. Always recognise that you’re more than a match for any situation you might find yourself in, no matter how tough the going gets.
  30. Don’t get swept up in the drama of what’s happening right now, look for more useful ways of engaging with what happens in your life.
  31. Don’t automatically give in to the instant pay-off – it often means you’re selling yourself short.
  32. When you feel like stamping your foot and yelling “I deserve better than this!”, take a step back and say “I can BE better than this.
  33. Confidence sometimes means admitting you’re wrong – always be ready to hold your hands up and change your mind.
  34. Trust your instincts.  They know what they’re talking about.
  35. Fear is a way of letting you know that you’re about to stretch yourself and grow your confidence.  That’s a good thing, so use it to take yourself forwards rather than run away.
  36. Imagine you’re visited by a successful, confident, attractive and vibrant version of you from the future, a version of you who’s everything you hope to be.  What do they want to tell you?
  37. Don’t feel like you have to do everything yourself – sometimes the most confident thing to do is ask for help.
  38. Take a chance on something tomorrow.  Anything, big or small, just take a chance.
  39. You need to be around people who make you feel like YOU, so spend more time with the people who support and encourage you and less with those who undermine you.
  40. Stop struggling against the things you don’t like in your life – create a congruent environment around you that flows and allows you to be you.
  41. No man’s an island, and you need to be a part of the world you around to feel confident.  What can you participate in that’s important to you?
  42. Forget the pro’s and con’s – do something bold in the face of your challenges and fears.
  43. Work on developing the skills you need to win at the things that matter to you.  What can you practice that would radically improve your chances of winning?
  44. The body is a mirror for the mind, so shifting your body into a confident state can have surprising results.
  45. Don’t get disheartened or demotivated when you get to 90% with something you’re working on – push through and you’ll see that the last 10% is where the magic happens.
  46. Keep comparing yourself to others?  Stop it, don’t try to validate yourself through comparison – you’re just peachy as you are.
  47. Put your head above the parapet at work and speak up if there’s something you think could be improved or if you have an idea you think has legs.
  48. If there’s something you’ve been struggling to understand for a while, stop trying to understand it.  Accept it just as it is, fully and wholly.
  49. Shy with new people?  Not a problem, there’s nothing wrong with being shy and it doesn’t mean you’re not confident.  Just don’t overthink it, start beating yourself up or thinking you’re less than because you’re shy – the more you think like that the worse it gets.
  50. Your environment directly impacts your self-perception, so if you’re surrounded by clutter, paperwork and rubbish put a morning aside to clean up your stuff and get organised.
  51. Write yourself a list of the amazing things you’d love to do in your life, and make a start by simply looking into the first one or two things that leap out at you.
  52. Don’t make your happiness or self-worth dependent on being in a relationship or being validated by someone else.  Find your inherent value first, and your relationships and confidence will be immeasurably better.
  53. Your strengths can be used to overcome any of your weaknesses.  We all have weaknesses but they only undermine your confidence if you let them.
  54. The longer you leave that big thing on your to-do list the more it’ll drain you and the bigger it’ll seem – get it done and free yourself up.
  55. What golden threads, themes, patterns and passions have always been in your life?  If those things aren’t present in your life right now, you need to shift your priorities.
  56. Your body image does matter, because if you have a bad relationship with your body you won’t be feeling confident in yourself.  Get trim if you need to, just make sure you get along with your body.
  57. Being confident is an ongoing process.  It isn’t a goal or an end-point that you reach and then stop.  Keep playing to the best of your ability and your confidence will always be there to support you.
  58. Try a new path.  The well-trodden paths of your life can easily turn from familiarity to apathy and disconnection.  A new path wakes you up.
  59. Don’t say “Yes” to taking on a task simply because you don’t want to rock the boat – you can politely decline requests you can’t meet and don’t need to create an excuse for it.
  60. Look at the people you respect who seem confident – don’t copy them, but identify what it is they do differently that conveys confidence and what you can learn from it.
  61. Make a plan to do something, then make deliberate choices to follow through.  Seeing progress gives you important self-reinforcement.
  62. When you feel yourself focusing inwards and becoming paralysed with doubt or fear, switch to focusing outwards at what you can engage and interact with.
  63. Still beating yourself up for failing or screwing up? It might not be a barrel of laughs but it’s not going to help you get through it.  Much better to recognise that everything, whether it turns out or not, is how you practice living a rich life.

News: WOWZA: Click here to watch 'live' streaming of Dubai's world record NYE fireworks

It promises to be a night of epic proportions, one that will certainly go down in history, as Dubai sets its sights on a world record amidst all the razzle dazzle and fanfare this city has mastered down to an art form.

While The Palm Jumeirah and The World Islands will play host to a glittering display of fireworks that will attempt the colossal task of setting off over 400,000 fireworks across 100km of shoreline, in just six minutes to set a new Guinness World Record, at the other end of the city stands the towering Burj Khalifa.

The world’s tallest building will impress with its iconic New Year’s Eve Gala and a spectacular fireworks display that will light up the imposing juggernaut once again.

Hosted by Emaar Properties, this year’s festivities are expected to break 2012’s record of 1.7 million visitors at Downtown Dubai.

The Dubai World Record team have roped in the men and women at Grucci to produce an unimaginable programme for tonight, including a laser etching of an aerial countdown, a pixel burst flying falcon and a UAE flag and a ‘sunrise’ at midnight.

Meanwhile, Emaar’s gala will be differentiated by 10 unprecedented fireworks acts including flowers in the colours of the national flag cascading down the tower, thousands of amethysts filling the sky, with fireworks evolving like petals and wrapping it up the tower much like the Hymenocallis desert flower, which inspired the design of Burj Khalifa.

However, even as the Roads and Transports Authority has launched a master plan to tackle the traffic chaos with 24-hour Dubai Metro operations and free bus rides to encourage the use of public transport, the Dubai Police have issued firm warning there will be zero tolerance to driving offences tonight.

In a statement, Deira and Bur Dubai traffic departments will deploy more than 150 traffic police officers and personnel on main roads and celebration areas, with the police stating they would not tolerate any violations or traffic obstruction and would take immediate action against those who caused any chaos, unruly noise or traffic obstruction, he said.

This includes instantly locking wheels of those vehicles whose drivers had parked in the middle of roads in an attempt to catch fireworks displays. Cars will also be impounded between three to six months.

To avoid the traffic chaos, authorities are encouraging residents to enjoy the live streaming of the fireworks across the various channels available. Emirates 24|7 gives you links to enjoy one of the greatest shows on earth from the comfort of your couch.

On DMI’s live feed

Dubai Media Incorporated, which is the parent company to Emirates 24|7, will be beaming a live feed on its online channel, via an exclusive tie-up with organisers, Dubai World Record 2014.

On Downtown Dubai’s YouTube channel

With several viewing points for visitors in Downtown Dubai, the New Year’s Gala celebration will also be streamed live on its YouTube, reaching millions of online audiences in real time.

Emaar is also promoting active online engagement with the spectators encouraged to upload photographs and videos of the New Year’s Eve celebrations on social networks, using the hashtag #BeThere.

On the telly

Dubai Media Incorporated’s Dubai One will air the live feed of The Palm/World Islands fireworks, beaming it right into your homes in a special tie-up with organisers, Dubai World Record 2014.

What better way to watch the dazzling display than with a night in with close family and friends?

News: Note: Khloé Kardashian and Lamar Odom are NOT sworn enemies

The newly divorced couple have remained cordial with each other and maintain contact as they figure out how to sell their house.
"Khloé and Lamar are still speaking on the phone. Not a lot but every so often," says a source,  "They are still working out some logistics and things are friendly between them. They will always have a deep affection for one another."
The pair have put their $4 million Tarzana home, which is under both of their names, on the private market. Kardashian's rep had no comment.
Meanwhile, the source also says that Lamar has been doing well since the split became final. "It's been a good few weeks for him. As sad as it is that things are finally over, it's been a relief to have a conclusion to the situation. They were in limbo for a while but now the decision is made, and there is some relief that comes with that."
The source adds, "He is actually really happy. He is ready to move on. He is not waiting around anymore. And that has been a good thing for him. It has had a very positive impact on his outlook. He feels relieved, not relieved that the marriage is over, but relieved that both of them can move on and focus on other things."

News & Videos: Surprising: Missing Doctor Teleka Patrick was in a relationship

Teleka Patrick's Romantic YouTube Videos May Be Clue to Her Disapperance

Teleka Patrick's family were unaware the young Michigan doctor may have been in a relationship – just one of the many questions surrounding her baffling disappearance nearly a month ago.

But now the discovery of romantic YouTube videos featuring Patrick apparently addressing an unseen lover may prove to be the best leads so far in unraveling the mystery.

The 30-year-old doctor in residency at Western Michigan University vanished the evening of Dec. 5 after she tried to rent a hotel room at the Radisson in Kalamazoo, which can be verified by the hotel's security footage.

Two hours later, state police found her car abandoned 100 miles away in Indiana, her wallet and credit cards still inside.
The last person to see the resident in psychiatry was the hotel shuttle driver, who took Patrick to her car at the Borgess Hospital in downtown Kalamazoo, where she worked. The driver said Patrick appeared anxious.

"She seemed as if she was looking around as if someone could be following her," Carl Clatterbuck, a private investigator hired by Patrick's family, tells ABC News.

Investigators have found no evidence of foul play, but they also can't be certain if Patrick's actions on that night were voluntary, CNN reports.

Police used dogs to track Patrick's scent, but the trail went cold some 30 feet away from the ditch where her car rested on Interstate 94.

Investigators have turned to YouTube videos that were posted in early November and feature Patrick talking and singing to someone she calls "baby" and "love." Patrick's family told CNN they didn't know she had any recent romantic relationships.
"Hi, baby," she says in one of the videos. "I am just coming to you to say, 'Hi' and tell you about my day."

In another, Patrick prepares a meal for two of omelets and pancakes and says, "If you were here, this is what would be [on] your plate."

These videos, along with the Radisson hotel footage that has no audio and does not make clear the reason Patrick was unable to book a room, are the evidence investigators have to work with since their physical search has turned up empty.

"We looked everywhere," Sgt. Rick Strong of the Indiana State Police tells CNN.

The Patrick family issued a statement Dec. 14, expressing their grief and hope for Teleka to be found.

"[She is] the sweetest, kindest and most hopeful girl you could ever meet, who was never too shy to show every single last one of her teeth when she smiled. Never too shy to help someone in need and never too shy to laugh out loud at her own sarcastic corny jokes (she thought she was hilarious). And oh, do we need to see her smile again."

"The days since [Teleka's disappearance] have been the most brutal, maddening all-consuming thing we have ever faced," the statement says.

The family's statement also cites a social media campaign, #findTeleka, and a gofundme account which is helping to raise funds for the search effort.

News: Man Finds $1 Million Lottery Ticket While Cleaning Leaves

Marvin Rosales Martinez Finds Winning Lottery Ticket in Pile of Leaves

Marvin Rosales Martinez is a landscaper from Long Island, N.Y. In October of 2012, he was cleaning up after Superstorm Sandy when he found a damp scratch-off lottery ticket hidden in a pile of leaves.
One year later, he's more than $500,000 richer for it.
Martinez, 27, was awarded his $1 million lottery prize on Fri Dec.27 2013, more than a year after claiming the winning ticket. According to the New York Lottery, Martinez first brought the ticket to a 7-Eleven, though the store couldn't verify it.
He then brought the ticket to the state lottery's Long Island location, where officials confirmed that it was a winning ticket.

"In instances such as these," lottery spokesman Lee Park told CNN (referring to cases of "finders, keepers"), "It's standard practice for the lottery to require a one-year waiting period before awarding the prize in case anyone else comes forward."
Luckily for Martinez, no one stepped forward, so he was awarded his $779,106. He opted to receive his winnings as a lump-sum payment, which totaled $515,612 after taxes.

Videos: Dwyane Wade Fathered Third Child While On A Break From New Fiancé Gabrielle Union

Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union

Dwyane Wade, 31, fathered a son during a temporary split from his now-fiancée Gabrielle Union earlier this year.
The actress, 41, was aware of the child before she accepted the Miami Heat guard's proposal on Dec. 21, says a source, and the pair have worked through the issue privately. When they first began dating in 2009, he already had two sons, Zaire and Zion, from his first marriage. The boys live full time with their dad, and Dwyane is also raising his nephew. Though the baby's mother wasn't named publicly, she is reportedly someone the athlete has known for a long time.
Wade spoke to Jay Leno on The Tonight Show in September about the break from Union, whom he had dated since 2009. The separation was largely due to the demands of their work lives, he explained.

News: Should Tony Elumelu Be The Next Central Bank Of Nigeria (CBN) Governor?

Tony Elumelu

Guys, a reader wants us to discuss this.
As we all know, Nigeria’s Central Bank Governor, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, will be forced to leave his post in March, 2014, two months before the formal expiration of his tenure. Two sources at the Presidency and a source at the Central Bank told SaharaReporters that Mr. Sanusi has been ordered to proceed on a post-retirement leave in March.
If Mr.President would make a replacement with someone credible and vibrant, do you think Tony Elumelu would be the right choice?
Some are of the opinion that, “The President needs an image maker, a redeemer' while others feel that “the post of CBN Governor would kind of belittle Elumelu, that the guy is poised for much bigger things.
What's your take on this?
