Photos: Dubai King & Ruler celebrates #UAEFlagDay at Union House

Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum said that the UAE flag will always be a symbol of the UAE’s unity as well as a source of pride for its citizens.

The flag will constantly inspire the UAE people to continue on the journey of development and progress initiated by the founding fathers led by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.

His Highness also said that the UAE flag is a precious national asset that we need to preserve through hard work and diligent efforts, so that the UAE can attain global leadership. His Highness stressed that knowledge will always be a key factor in the UAE’s effort to win the global race.

His Highness’ remark came as he hoisted the UAE flag in the Union House to mark the ‘UAE Flag Day’, which was announced by His Highness in 2013. The hoisting of the UAE Flag was attended by students of a number of schools and people of determination.
