du’s WiFi UAE service has now been rolled out at Jumeirah’s Souk Madinat, and users can get online while dining at any of the market’s 24 restaurants, while being entertained at the Madinat Theatre, or while perusing the eclectic mix of shops and retailers. The service on offer includes two options – the free option, WiFi UAE, or the paid-for high-speed WiFi UAE Premium, which is capable of streaming video and more bandwidth-intensive services.
“We are very happy to be launching WiFi UAE in one of Dubai’s top retail and high footfall spots, providing free internet access for everyone – regardless of their network preference,” said Jihad Tayara, vice president of business development and partnerships at du. “Through this launch, we continue to spread happiness through innovation and connectivity throughout the UAE, and this is another great stepping stone in our quest to support the UAE government in its happiness agenda and in achieving country-wide wi-fi access in line with the nation’s Vision 2021.”
The best bit about the wi-fi roll out is that it’s totally unlimited, uncapped and completely free. All you need to get going is a wi-fi capable smartphone and a UAE mobile number.

Hope the free WiFi will be of very good signal.
