Greatest revelation! Beyonce flaunts twins, Sir Carter & Rumi & gets 1.7 million Instagram likes in 1 hour

U.S. pop singer Beyonce posted the first photo of her twins on Instagram early Friday morning, getting 1.7 million "likes" in just one hour.

''Sir Carter and Rumi 1 month today," Beyonce said in the description on the social media website.

In February, Beyonce posted a photo announcing she was pregnant with twins. It become the most-ever liked post on Instagram, getting more than 8 million "likes" in the first 24 hours.

The singer and her husband, music producer Jay-Z, decided to trademark the names of their twins. The couple did the same with their first child Blue Ivy.

The trademarks apply to cosmetics, baby accessories, sports balls and tote bags, among other items.

Beyonce's account on Facebook-owned Instagram is the fifth most followed on the platform, according to industry website Socialblade.com. Before her recent pregnancy, a photo with her first daughter reached 2.5 million "likes" and was previously the most popular post on Instagram.

Other posts from music celebrities such as Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez make up the top 10 of the most-liked photos on Instagram.

By 11:00 a.m. London time on Friday the post from Beyonce had gained over 4 million "likes", four hours since it was first posted.
