The 41 year old musician is survived by his wife of 12 years Talinda Bennington and six children, three of whom came from a previous relationship.
Their whirlwind romance began shortly after Chester’s divorce from his first wife Samantha Marie Olit. In 2004,  Chester and Talinda moved in together just ten days after being introduced by musician Ryan Shuck, who was a mutual friend. Then Talinda Ann Bentley, the soon to be Mrs Bennington was a successful model who had appeared in Playboy magazine. They went on to have three children together: 11-year-old Tyler Lee and six-year-old twins Lila and Lilly. Before his passing, Chester had been vocal about his struggles with abuse and depression, and had credited Talinda with helping him through some difficult moments in his life.
Sadly, shortly after Chester’s death, some were already attempting to defile his memory by hacking Talinda’s Twitter account. Talinda had recently tweeted a Father’s Day message to Chester but her account was soon overrun with disrespectful messages about her late husband.

In horrid messages which have since been deleted, hackers sent messages as Talinda claiming she only cared about Chester’s money, among other awful allegations including claims of infidelity. However, these messages have since been taken down, leaving Talinda’s last message to her husband as a sweet “Thinking of you” tweet.

Wow.
RIP Chester!!!
