Paul’s passing caused the film to be postponed, but with the support of fans, it was not cancelled. The message, posted Thursday on the Fast & Furious Facebook page, with a photo of Vin Diesel, started off with “We made it. Today we completed the last shot in the production of FAST & FURIOUS 7.”
The full message:
The saga continues on April 3. #FF7 pic.twitter.com/suQyo1Ezt3

The lead actor’s death seemed to be the driving force behind the message and they made a point to mention him briefly. “Our family is big and strong but it won’t ever quite be whole again without Paul.” They added that Paul’s brothers, Caleb and Cody, joined the team to help complete the film in honor of their brother.Fast & Furious 7 was originally set to be released this week, but will hit theaters April 3, 2015 and will once again star Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson, Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson, Chris Bridges, Elsa Pataky, Lucas Black and the late Paul Walker.
We are counting down to the 3rd of April 2015, God willing, can't wait to see this partly shot-in-Abu-Dhabi/Dubai film!!!
