The Los Angeles Police Department is investigating a claim that the singer attempted to commit a robbery Monday night. "Detectives are currently interviewing the victim. It was reported at 10:30 p.m. Monday night to our Devonshire location and occurred earlier in the day in the Valley," officer Rosario Herrera told The Hollywood Reporter Tuesday, the same day the complaint was filed. "As of right now, no arrest has been made and detectives are currently interviewing the victim."
The LAPD spokesperson couldn't confirm details of the incident, but TMZ reported that it took place at a miniature golf and batting cage park in Sherman Oaks, Calif. The woman said she took pictures of Bieber, prompting him to allegedly snatch her phone and scream at her, causing her daughter to cry.
Bieber had not been questioned by police or arrested as of late Tuesday, Herrera told E! News.
It's been a bad year for Bieber, who was arrested in Miami in January for driving under the influence, operating a motor vehicle with an expired license and resisting arrest without violence; he pleaded not guilty to all charges and a trial has been set for July 7. That same month, he allegedly egged a neighbor's home in Calabasas, Calif. He is being investigated in Los Angeles County for vandalism.
Less than a month ago, 20-year-old Bieber was detained at Los Angeles International Airport and questioned by U.S. Customs and Border Patrol officials after returning from a trip to Asia. However, no formal action was taken and the "As Long As You Love Me" singer was released after four hours.
Neither Bieber nor his team has commented on the alleged robbery.
What's up with this young talented dude???

UPDATE:
Justin Bieber is the recipient of some positive legal news. Reuters is reporting that the Canadian pop superstar has been cleared of wrongdoing in an attempted robbery investigation.
The investigation involved an incident where Justin was accused of trying to snatch a woman's mobile phone at Sherman Oaks Castle Park. According to a city attorney spokesman, "prosecutors rejected the allegations because of insufficient evidence to back up the claims."
In other Biebs legal news, the mega-selling star is still under investigation for an incident where Justin allegedly hucked eggs at a neighbour's home. CNN is reporting that a criminal charge tied to the egging probe could be a reality as early as Monday afternoon.
