When you have more than 23 million Twitter followers, even an accidental pocket-dialed tweet can send shockwaves throughout the social-media universe.
Oprah Winfrey found this out the hard way on Sunday night when she pocket-dialed an errant tweet comprised of a nonsensical combination of letters and symbols. Despite being indecipherable gibberish, Oprah's weird tweet was favourited more than 1,100 times, and retweeted by more than 1,600 of her followers.
Read that tweet below.
@tpa@y#m##@nyhn

Naturally, many of Oprah's followers wondered what the heck was going on, with some asking whether she was drunk while others jokingly agreed and even outright mocked the nonsensical tweet.
Eventually, the Twitter brouhaha was brought to Oprah's attention, and she tweeted an apology.
Ok seems I pocket tweeted myself 2 hrs ago. Didn't even know possible . Sorry y'all. #toomuchchai

My question now is this: Those that were retweeting Oprah's tweet "@tpa@y#m##@nyhn" what exactly was it that they understood in that tweet that made them retweet & like it???
