He clocked 60 two days ago. Prince Jide Kosoko was born to Prince Lasisi Kosoko on the 12th of January 1954. He is from Lagos Island, Nigeria.
Prince Jide attended the Yaba College of Technology where he studied Business Administration; he also went to Lagos School of Drama.
As well as being a Yoruba Nollywood actor, Prince Jide is also a Director, Producer and Editing and Administrative Consultant. He started acting in 1964 at the age of 10. His big break into the Nigerian movie industry was in 1983 when he featured in a movie titled ‘Taxi Driver’. He has featured in Yoruba and English Nollywood movies such as Jenifa, Last flight to Abuja, Family Passion, Agbede Meji, Secret Room and many more.
